Mr. Funk served as COO of Sol-Wind, managing over 20 financial audits while also preparing consolidated financial pro formas for the acquired project companies, then successfully navigating the lengthy SECS-1 registration process for the IPO.
After Sol-Wind and prior to Blue Planet, Mr. Funk served as CFO of Bright Power, Inc.
Mr. Funk spent 25 years at the Washington Post Company, the last 10 of which he served as President of the Post Co. subsidiary in Everett, WA.
Mr. Funk is a graduate of Harvard Business School (with honors) and Stanford University in Economics and Political Science (with distinction).
Mr. Oppenheim has led underwriting for Split Rock Real Estate Partners since its inception in ‘20 with +250K SF and +$20M of industrial and office acquisitions.
Prior, Mr. Oppenheim spent three years in Growth Strategy Consulting at The Cambridge Group, where he created a variety of quantitative models as well as strategic recommendations for clients including The Coca-Cola Company, Kraft Heinz, Johnson & Johnson, and Kellogg’s.
Mr. Oppenheim graduated from the NYU Stern School of Business with specializations in Real Estate, Finance, and Sustainability and received his BS from Northwestern University with degrees in Economics, Psychology, and Marketing.
Mr. Heck brings over 20 years of experience in utility generation and transmission.
Prior to BPF and AFI, Mr. Heck served in a similar role at Sol-Wind in the lead up to the IPO, heading up portfolio due diligence.
Prior to Sol-Wind, Mr. Heck served as VP of Sales and Development for SolFocus, Inc and Development Director of Renewable Energy at Nevada Power.
Mr. Heck received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Misericordia University and JD from the University of Nevada - Boyd School of Law.
